Emily Stone, an MFA candidate and a writing instructor at the University of Pittsburgh, has been a movie reviewer, a reproductive health researcher, and an independent bookstore owner. Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in magazines including Travel + Leisure and Budget Travel, in literary journals such as Fourth Genre, on the web at Agni Online and World Hum, and in the anthology The Best Travel Writing 2009: True Stories From Around the World.
