Eric Trump is a writer and translator. He is taking a break from teaching German literature and bioethics at Vassar College to write a book on illness, eros, and an organ transplant, tentatively titled Bodies into Other Bodies: Variations on an Illness. This book grows out of writings that have appeared in the New York Times, Health Affairs, Salon, Reader’s Digest, and the Hastings Center Report, among other publications.
