Michael Riordan is a writer of poetry, stories, feature articles, and educational plays. An avid traveler, he has taught in the U.S., Australia, Singapore, and China, where he was a professor of writing and film studies. In Singapore, he co-founded Creative Action Now, a language school and consultancy. He won first prize for nonfiction in the 2020 “Ageless Authors” spring contest.
