Michele Bigley is a two-time Lowell Thomas Award-winning writer. Her work has appeared in the New York Times, AFAR, Outside, Los Angeles Times and many more. Currently, she is writing a book about taking her sons to meet the people working to protect the planet from, and prepare their communities for, our climate crisis. She teaches writing at UC Santa Cruz.
